Thinking about upgrading from A8 to S8, what is real world mpg's and can I DIY maintenance
I dont have any friends in a D3 S8, any experience with maintenance, reliability, i like to do these things myself. And i kind of care about mpg's.

A8s, whether A8 or S8, aren't exactly DIY maintenance cars, unless you're into electronics.

Just going in for my 5k scheduled maintenance which is the first trip back to the dealer since purchase. Absolutely no issues with the car whatsoever. I will let the professionals do the maintenance.
Around town ~ 14 (fairly heavy foot + Sport mode)

Why is that so difficult to understand?
I wouldn't mind knowing either! Particulalry since some of us who buy these cars for DD will drive a lot (like 20K+/yr for me).

I would have though S8 MPG would be much worse, seems close to what I get with my A8. Anyone S8 owners want to trade?

Just filled up this morning - 255 miles / 16.9 gal = 15.08mpg city.
My city may be different that yours obviously as part of it is longer stretches, but much is stop and go.
