T40005 - Camshaft Adjustment Tool - $52.42

T40009 - Wrench - Tightener Pulley - $9.86

T40011 - Locking Pin (3 pc.) - $4.59

T40237 - Locking Pin For Crankshaft - $9.52

You might need

VAS6234 - Torque Wrench 1783 - 1/4" Drive Ratchet for your torque wrench when using T40009. - $61.60

You don't need

VAG1921 - Hose Clip Pliers - $35.84 -- but it was really helpful after fighting with various pliers over the years and I'm more than glad that I bought them.

And from EBAY you can buy a Camshaft Sprocket Puller Timing Tool - T40001 for $65 or your local auto parts store will have a two-jaw puller that you can rent for $0.

I forget to mention the

Locking Carrier Support Tool. -- $21.06

You don't need them if you completely remove the locking carrier from the front. You screw them into the chassis and then you can slide the carrier forward about 6".

From my recent experience with that (Snap-On VW) site this past summer, only one item was in stock and I was quoted lead times of six to eight weeks for the rest of the tools. I went with Baum Tools. Everything was in stock and I received them in only three days with surface shipping. Prices were higher but I needed the tools as I will NEVER use Blauparts timing belt parts again (they offer tool rental with their kits) as their water pump and belts are junk. Search the threads for several horror stories. Not all are mine.

Be careful with the puller as some that pull on an angle could crack the camshaft sprocket. I was told this by a VW/Audi dealer technician. The proper tool pulls them straight off.

For the "Lock carrier support tool"; I use long Metric bolts from my stash of Metric hardware.
