When it's a light rain it's not so bad, however, when it's raining buckets...
like this week - it's enough to scare something out of you!!! =)
As far as your observation with your wipers, I've noticed the same thing - I think it's supposed to be a feature. I'll have to get my owners manual out and see if it says anything about it.
btw - Heidi is a very cute new addition to your family.

I guess I have a job for one of my kids the next time it rains
Just trying to imagine what my service advisor will say when I hand him a DVD and tell him to watch it.

True but that would make it out to be a case of believable/non-believable!
I guess thats why Audis first instincts are NOT to believe the customer. "Cannot duplicate.........."! Im tired of the games played by Audi, especially after a spotless history with Japanese cars, including the manufacturer, dealer and car itself. My first Audi, shame on them. My second, shame on me!!!

Dont laugh - your wipers have pinch protection! Keep your hands inside the car please...
OK you can laugh now.
Sounds to me that the wipers "think" there's ice or something on the glass and so they stop to avoid damage to the mechanism. They just need to learn when to "stop" and when not.

I still think it is a chassis ground which becomes intermittant in rain. VERY hard to trace.
Wipers/electronics just see voltage drop, wipes/clears function, then resets after full circuit restored.
Why can't any dealer diagnose anything anymore? Need to send info to "home office". Pathetic.
Put it on repair ticket, and tell advocate you want to know where to send the bill for the wreck.
