Default This would also provide a repeatable test for the dealer. Important! ...
...as anyone who has tried to debug intermittent problems can attest!

After forcing AoA to buy back my first A8 (the Atlas Grey one in my sig), I've just resigned to living with this bug since I can get the wipers going again by turning them off, then back on again.

We shoul dnot have to live with a problem like this, but I am tired of taking the car to the dealer.
