Is there a way of identifying which sensor is not working?(low battery probably)
I don't want to replace all 4.They were done about 3 years ago.
The tires are in storage now but I'll replace them for the summer season in a month or so.

Well, put the tires back on your car one at a time, and after 15 minutes of driving, you know the tire you put on did not have a bad sensor if no errors come up. This only is advisable if you have a very close diameter between your two sets. This also assumes your TPMS system doesn't tell you which sensor has gone out when you go to check the tire pressure and that you don't have VCDS to try to do it.

Or, remove spare from trunk and put your suspect tires in there, one at a time to verify. That said, if they are a matched set, all should be replaced as they tend to last eight years or less.
