Tracking a new car for delivery.
This is probably a question for Atlas, anyway to track a new car that left the factory last week? Delivery is suppose to be here by the 30th of the month.

Your dealer can track it on AIM
Call your ABS and have them pull an inventory (they should do this daily or weekly anyway) and tell you the In-Transit status (whether still on the boat, at port or Inland) and the ETA.

It seems like yesterday that a bunch of us were doing the same thing!
I would guess the important date, aside from actual delivery, is when she pulls into port. Like Atlas said, the dealer will know this as soon as it occurs but a prompt from you wouldnt be a bad idea. ENJOY!!!!!!

Does AoA use Wallenius-Wilhelmsen lines?
If you find out the boat it is on, you can track it on water, and check when it hits port, clears customs. Where do Audis come in? Charleston?
I'm new to these cars, but I'm sick enough to track all my other stuff onto, across, and off the water.
Quietly, impatiently waiting for 06 W12. Wish it had B&O right off.
Anyone know where new fender badges are on the W12, or what the new sill look like?

Wilmington, De. and Houston, Tx and hopefully, the car
will NOT hit port!!!!! BTW, a ship bearing new BMWs left port just before the ship with my car sailed in Aug. of 03. The Bimmer ship sank with a number of the "Bangled" 745s on board. The interesting part of the story is that NO SHARKS were found near the wreck. I attribute that to the design of the 7!!!!!!!!!!

Those poor sharks...call SPCA
I have some pics somewhere of the recovery. I think the gods were trying to send Panke and Bangle a message.
Houston, huh? Kewl. Short trip from port. WWL has nice website. Ship from Bremsen, or which German port?<ul><li><a href="http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp">Wallenius-Wilhelmsen site</a></li></ul>

The anticipation is killing you.
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/81119/keyhole.jpg">
So, you have already worn through the brochure and perhaps buying time on a Keyhole satellite to track your shipment is not the best way to spend your hard earned dough. This is the time to reflect on what mods you want: extra wheel/tire options; a VAG-COM kit; a new BT phone that is compatible with your Audi; upgrading your foglight bulbs so they have the same color temp as headlights; all those important details that make your life complete.
What essential items will you need in your trunk? Maybe some new clubs? Scuba gear and a tux? A small weapons cache customized to replace the trunk lid toolkit? These are important details that must not be overlooked.
Have you considered the lifestyle changes that are inherent with ownership? You will soon be looking for excuses to get out and drive your new A8, so how will you make that time more constructive? By taking photos during your travels? Or maybe you will take up limocross? So many options, so little time.
Before long you will be planning the next vehicle that will replace the one you are still waiting on, because you know that something better is always coming along. So try to relax. = )

Your right, Ring! I'm more excited about this car
coming in than the last 8 benzes I've had. First thing will be a new cell phone to handle Bluetooth. Already looking at the new Motorola phones out there. I've ordered special coco mats
for the interior in tan/creme to go with the creme leather interior to preserve the carpet mats that will come with it. Then on to the outside!
