Default Not documented well AFAIK

I did it once or twice as I swapped in and out the W12 fridge but couldn't describe specifics beyond I got in there and just tried to pull carefully to get inside frame trim out first.Once that comes off, there are a few fasteners that hold the assembly in. I remember trying to look and finding little documentation about it.

Here's how I did it...
On the inside of the car there's a plastic rectangular trim piece that snaps away from the pass thru. I believe there's 4 contact points, on each corner, that I was able to get my finger behind and release.
Once that's unsnapped, you can simply push the ski sack into the trunk. no tools needed.

Yes, but REACHING it from the front is another matter entirely... impossible in an A8L.

I just returned some stuff to Sears and with my merchandise credit bought
this cooler this cooler
on clearance for $30... it appears to have just the right size door.

Doesn't exactly freeze (says it cools to 50 below ambient temp) but better than nothin'!

Awdinut is the one who knows all about trunk fridges...

interesting.... i may have todo some serious looking into that one. im mostly concerned with how much heat it may put off with the compressor running, would something like that affect other things in the trunk? also, i had to drill out the rivets holding the hinge for the trunk side door, i can now gain access to the trunk from inside the cabin

also, its more of a "hide the beers" thing when your sitting in a park n ride with a few friends after a late night base jump from your favorite antenna and a cop pulls in... no way i could reach the back seat while driving, let alone into the trunk.
