Default Updating Sirius Channel Lists

Does anyone know how to force the Sirius receivers to update it's channel list thru the MMI?

Most sat receivers have this as a user function, but I don't see a way to do it manually...

Mike, I always thought it was a Sirius function and not a function of the car.

Sirius will decide to update the receiver. There is no manual update

Default just call Sirius

I've had a bug with my bmw sirius where various stations just disappear. When this happens, I call Sirius and they somehow send a signal to my car that fixes it and updates all of the stations.

Default Re: Updating Sirius Channel Lists

This is an automatic function that occurs at startup. My Sirius receiver frequently says it is updating the channels for a second or two right after I start the car. Check the Sirius website for the current channels, if you see channels you are not receiving, then you might need to call Sirius to have them manually refresh your receiver. If that does not work, get the dealer to give you a new receiver under warranty.

Default Thanks everyone. I'll call Sirius to force the update, but it would be nice

to have a manual update option such as the S50 and other receivers.
