Hello,
My car is a 4E A8 2004 prefacelift. I am in proccess to upgrade it to Singleframe facelift with S8 look.
Car has Xenon plus (with headlight range control module) but NOT Adaptive Lights. Given that I need to change headlights for the upgrade, I want to retro-fit W12 model, with daytime running lights leds and Adaptive Lights.
I know I must upgrade the comfort module in order to support DRL leds, but problem I find is that actual lights use 10-pin connector while new ones use 14-pin connector.
I am a bit confused. Perhaps headlight range control module must be replaced?
I would need help with this pin conversion.
Thank you very much.

Hello again,
10 to 14 pin conversion seems to be solved. DRL also with a new confort module. Problem is still on Adaptive lights conversion: CAN signal perhaps needed and also a new lights module (?)...
Please, anyone can help me with this?

Did you have xenons to start with? I was under the impression the connectors were the same (@ least that is what I was told by a supplier) I have a 2005 though, so that may have made a difference. Did you buy everything for the front clip on your own or did you go through a company?

I didn't buy the parts still. You can bought them on your own or go thrugh a company, as Oemplus. Instalation is not easy, and many parts involved.
Regards.

I have Xenon plus to start with. From 2005, connector is 14 pin. But pin conversion is not so difficult. My doubts are for adaptive light, because I'm not sure if light module must be replaced. I hope someone can help with this.
