the man doing the v10 heads and his 5th axis CNC program are getting 56hp out of a Busa head (4 cyl)
making 90 horsepower from head work in a v 10 is entirely possible. Audi could not afford to prepare the heads without the cost of the car going up, simply a production cost that is why the rotocast heads on a v 6 , v 8 and v 10 are identical with the direct injected cars (smart production) after all Audi makes money Manufacturing cars and selling them. If Audi was just a Racing firm only, then yea the port work would probably be as you say "done already"

17 k installed added 112hp and 163 ft of Torque@ 5psi
it's been on for about 3 months, only went back for service once when the oil plug in the supercharger housing started to leak from a bad copper o-ring.
Trying to hunt down another motor for a high pressure build up. I didn't want my car in the shop for 60-90 days for a high boost app so I went with the low boost setup took 4 days ( currently my only car), plus I never had a supercharged car and was thinking of practicality and reliability if that even applies. I was told the low boost kit can become a high boost kit with a few minor changes, so like i said I'd like to find another motor and go crazy, figuring if it's pushed to far I'll always be able to put the stock motor back in. This will also depend on being able to source a motor for a good price. If I can't find a spare motor without selling the farm, I guess maybe i'll wait until I meet like 2-3 other peeps running high boost and see how they fair before I take the plunge. The dollar bill to boost ratio plunge

Incredible, very tempting. I'm reluctant to mess with the engine at that level though...
Even at low boost, it sounds risky to me. How does your transmission handle the boost in power? Feel any difference through gear changes?
Also, finding a spare Audi 5.2 V10 will be a challenge, and when you do find, it'll cost you a pretty penny. Switching engines on a 120k car like that is a little too ballsy for me.
I'm googling that supercharger to find out more about it, do you have the name/website of the shop you went to? Was it sketchy motodyne that did it for ya?
