Is the ventilated seat option ('04 & '05) worth insisting on?

I have 2004 with ventilated seats. I wondered if my seats actually do anything? Don't seem to blow anything out of seats but holes keep them less stickey. They are saddle color which haven't seen many and thats why I decided on this used car with dark blue color.

Leave the seat vent fan off during the summer and you'll notice a difference. The air flow is minimal even at setting #6, but there is air flowing through which helps avoid sweat.
It is a very nice to have feature but it would not have been a deal breaker for me. Some people do not like the look of thousands of tiny holes in the seats. I personally like the look.

Ventilation doesn't work very well, but the massage function is useful on long trips. It is a nice little "goodie" to have, but I am not sure if it is really worth it.
Getting the solar sunroof may be better bang for the buck if you just want to keep cool.
