Nah. You aren't part of the family here unless you've been gigged at least once for spelling.
Believe me, I know

I have been using Lubro(Liqui)-Moly full synthetic 5w40 since I've had the car for about two years.

I have only used Mobil 1 0W40 since I purchased the car with 40k miles. I now have roughly 170K Miles and she's running great. (2006 A8L)

Do you have any tips or tricks on doing the oil change? I saw the write-up on Audi forums. I was planning on putting it in lift mode, driving it up my rhino ramps, and pulling off the bottom cover and figuring it out from there. Thanks.

When using ramps, it will be very difficult to remove the bottom cover since wheels need to be turned to loosen a retaining screw or two! After removing bottom cover, disconnect tube coming off the bottom of the air box. From the top, remove the complete air box (four Torx or Allen head screws). Drain oil (Fill cap off). Drain oil filter cavity; there is an Allen head cap screw below the filter canister. Remove oil filter by bending the heat shield where the air box was close to the engine. You will need a large socket for the cap nut. Install new oil filter, Replace O ring on filter cap. Reinstall oil filter drain plug. Replace air box (Open and clean/replace air filter and air box while you're at it). Re install drain plug. Use a new crush ring if possible. The large ring sold with filters is useless. Crush rings are sold at dealers. Add 7-7 1/2 quarts of liquid gold and start her up. Shut off and check for leaks and verify oil level. Top up if necessary. Replace bottom cover.

Great thanks for the reply. Do you also put a little bit of oil back in the filter holder, then insert the new filter, so it doesn't start dry?
