I have a dozen codes that all say that the 'Energy Management System (module) is not communicating with various systems. Anyone else seen similar codes? I have changed my battery a couple months ago but had not scanned the car until yesterday whem the CEL cme on due to other causes (needs one of the fuel pumps was failing). The dealer says that resetting the Energy Management is something that must be done after a battery change, but no one on the forum that has changed their battery has had to do the set-up stuff.
But, I am going to have the Vag com stuff done and unfortunately my independent guys do not have those procedures available on their Ross Tech program. I have several drained-for-no-reason battery episodes and today I saw a service bulletin for a sorftware upgrade on the Energy Management module because the modules have caused the battery to drain out. I hope that solves the code problems and ends any dead battery incidents in the future. I will post results.
