I've torn my dash apart looking for it, I thought it was under the left dash panel (under the steering wheel) but it's not there, I've seen other sources saying it's under the seat. Does anyone have any input?

Sounds like the compressor is drawing too much current. Those wacky WABCO electric air compressors. Usual failure mode is one of the magnets that is glued to the inside of the motor tube breaks away causing drag and high current draw. Proper procedure is to replace the compressor. However, taking the m otor apart and JB Welding the magnets is the cheaper alternative.

Oh also, the compressor had a sickly sweet smell to it whenever it engaged, then started making a HORRIBLE noise, then blew the second fuse I put in.

I just ordered an arnott replacement for $379 which i think is a pretty damn good price, probably going to swap it out myself, it doesn't intimidate me too much, and it says it comes with very detailed instructions so I should be good to go. I will look into welding the magnets like you said and maybe keep a spare even though the arnott unit comes with a 1 year warranty.
