The PI team I believe is an internal team/dept within Audi. I don't know nothing bout them, just that they exist. I gess my2015 is a refresh.

Encounter has been around a year or two.

In the first 2013 brochure it compares some parts in the 8 made of different cost materials. I've been told by someone in the business at Audi that it is one of the main features of next years car, as well as an updated mmi system and lighting ( I'm assuming matrix lighting outside - not sure what lighting changes there are inside but there are some).
