2015 A8L massaging seats
This might be a super dumb question but where's the button to turn on the rear massage seats? I pressed all the buttons but nothing... so maybe they're not working idk

Just those buttons as shown on page 61 of your owner's manual.
.
"Massage function*: to select the "pulsating" massage function, press the button forward. To select the "wave" massage function, press the button back. If three lights in the button turn on, the massage is at the strongest level. To reduce the massage level, press the button again. To turn the massage function off, press the button again until all of the lights turn off."
.
