I have a 2017 A8. Yesterday I was driving and all of a sudden I had a myriad of issues pop up. Everything from parking brake failure, MMI screen retracted and turned radio off, license plates lights failed, then the tach and speedometer both went to zero and the display screen between them went dark. I was still driving. I got home and it wouldn’t lock with the fob. The rear tail lights were blinking intermittently as (turn signals, brake and running lights). My neighbors thought I had the newest Audi police vehicle. The trunk will not open and the car will not start. The auto lock buttons will also not work. It barely starts like it’s getting no fuel and then gives up. I had to lock vehicle with the key. I’m dreading the report back. I have to get it towed and I’m concerned drive will not disengage.

That sounds pretty crazy. I'd start with the basics and check your battery voltage level. Since the trunk is closed you will need to use the posts under the hood. Check that out and report back.
