Well I did it yesterday. I used two full bottles of windshield washer fluid to press the gas pedal and hold it at about 1900rpm. The rubber hoses between the turbo and the throttle body are nearly impossible to remove so I just unhooked the hose coming out of the air filter housing and sprayed it in there. It's pretty easy to split it between the two sides. An S8 would obviously be more difficult at it has two air boxes. It did stumble a bit when I drove it afterwords and it set some codes for misfires on all cylinders. But after that it ran great. In fact my butt dyno felt like it ran better. I know that's not an accurate measurement technique but it really does feel like it runs better. If it helps keep the carbon off my valves and the gunk buildup out of my intake then it's worth the $8 and 20 minutes it took to do it.

Well I still have warranty so we'll see what happens. 400 mile road trip tomorrow so I'll be able to tell if it made any impact on the mileage. I doubt it will as it's already very good.
