Default Audi 2011 error codes

Hi anyone with knowledge of Audi A8 2011 - 4.2 ltr.

the mechanic gave me a list of errors codes which I believe are due EPC light on the dash.
P200500 & P200400.
Question is this a cheap fix as I’ve received a hefty estimate and 18 days for parts and fixing.

P200500 = Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 2 Stuck Open
P200400 = Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 1 Stuck Open

Depends it could just be a vacuum hose issue.
Here is something similar on the 3.0T

Smile Going to give it a try

Thank you GK1 - I'm going get the mechanic to give this a try. I'll let you know how it goes.

I missed mentioning my car is 2011 hence I could not give the above suggestion a try. see below description.
I am really upset as the car did not have this issue before it went in for an oil leak change. see last attachment that shows the work that was carried out after which they advised me of the new issues with the EPC.

Yeah I don't know. If you say you just had work done it seems even more likely they forgot to attach a vacuum hose or connector somewhere.
Sadly these days you have to be able to DIY more and more, at least diagnostically, due to seemingly uncaring service.
