Were the balloons for blocking overspray behind the grille, no other way to get plastic back there?
Would like to know how the finish holds up over time.
I am thinking of taking my car to the body shop to have the trim blacked out, but plastidip might be nice as you can take it off.

you're a better man than me. I tried this on the chrome trim around the doors - horror show result. I don't think (a) I did it smoothly and (b) I might have used an older can of the stuff and it was kind of spitting at times or I didn't stop to shake it on a regular basis. Great look either way, I love the blacked out look. Still want my chrome trim done...
