Well done! I have to ask, though, what were the balloons for?

Were the balloons for blocking overspray behind the grille, no other way to get plastic back there?

Would like to know how the finish holds up over time.

I am thinking of taking my car to the body shop to have the trim blacked out, but plastidip might be nice as you can take it off.

Balloons were there to prevent overspray into the radiator

This took me a total of 1.5 hrs INCLUDING drying time between coats.
I recommend it.

The balloons I learned from this:

you're a better man than me. I tried this on the chrome trim around the doors - horror show result. I don't think (a) I did it smoothly and (b) I might have used an older can of the stuff and it was kind of spitting at times or I didn't stop to shake it on a regular basis. Great look either way, I love the blacked out look. Still want my chrome trim done...

Why not remove the grill or is that a tricky process?
