If the coolant is too full it will leak out around the coolant bottle, I had this exact issue. I would just keep an eye on it, if it keeps getting lower then you need to get it fixed.
The coolant tank is generally not a terribly expensive or difficult part to replace on most cars. My D3 was not a difficult car to change it on, and if memory serves me, the D4 doesn't look any harder to do. The most annoying part is disconnecting and draining it without making too much of a mess. Be aware, the tank has this weird design of a filler on it such that there is a gap that allows fluid through the middle to drain out the bottom, it's hard to explain. I think it's so that if you open it hot, the fluid has a place to go other than spraying you with coolant. The point is, if you add coolant but get any around the lip and not in the reservoir, it runs out the bottom of the tank to the ground, not down the side of the tank.

I'm sorry for ignorance, but can anyone tell me if it's okay to put Bars leak - stop leak into the actual coolant tank or it only can go into radiator? The coolant is leaking in audi a4 and I need to have a temporary solution. The auto shop said that thermostat house needs to be replaced and they want $2000.. I need temporary solution and not to damage the vehicle either. thanks

Please god don't do that. It will seal it sure but you will have so many issues if you try that, for it to NOT gum up everything you need to totally remove ALL coolant. If you leave coolant in it will ruin everything
