For about a year now I have this weird, single-crack noise, a few seconds after the engine starts. It's rather loud and it seems to come from the right blower area. It's not getting worse or better, it's the same every time.
Any idea what is it or an easy fix?

i have the same but its passenger side im in uk i thought it was the blower but i used my obd eleven and it says its the footwell motor if thats anyhelp

I've used Vag-com and it shows no error. I believe it's a small mechanical issue.
