Default Deals on a new s8 plus

Folks... Going to put an order in for a s8 plus. What deals can I expect when you order new from the factory?

I was out test driving one this morning. Great car, could tell a difference between it and the "regular" S8. The guy told me that they were taking orders, but they have no information on build dates. He said if I put an order in, it would probably be a 2017 and arrive in December.

Anyhoooo, the gist I get is that the first wave of buyers for the plus have come in and payed close to sticker. Now they're gone, and the dealers are trying to figure out the new clearing price. My guy mentioned that he knew he'd need to get creative to get me over the line, so they'll deal.

The one I'm looking at has a $130K sticker, and I can't see paying more than $115 due to the new one being a year out. Even then, I'm not sure I'd do it when you can get a CPO '15 for something under 90K.... That's just me, the #'s are a personal choice. Pay whatever you're comfortable with.

It's a great car though.

Got the first one at my dealer but I specced the car last September.
MSRP $155,250, got $2k conquest rebate (traded E63S), remote starter (Viper), Laser Jammer with 2 sensors in front, and Escort MAX all included.
I want to stress also that he gave me $61k for my car while my Benz dealer offered only around $50k.
All in all I am very happy as the car is absolutely fabulous as daily driver and blows away current S63 (my previous DD, with Renntech mods) and also the new Alpina B6 (600HP) that I have considered and even tested for a whole week.

Here is what I am getting on a brand new s8 plus

MSRP $130,520(Arras Red interior, B&O, Driver assistance, cold weather)
Invoice : 122,380
Sales price : 120,000

Good deal?

The 2017 ordering guide is coming out next week for the S8. I don't wanna miss out on new features like digital dash etc but my sales guy assures me that those are at least 2-3 years put for the S8.

Thoughts?

Seems good to me. I really would not expect any big changes next year. Certainly not a digital dash. That would be D5. Minimum a short run of 2017's next year, but I personally have a hunch it may get stretched some. Pure guess is you might see a 4G incremental improvement, like they did on C7 this year, maybe more so if they are stretching the D5 intro out more. S8 (and W12) also typically goes off market near end of run, and doesn't come back for a year or 18 months. Thus good window.

I personally agree with your choices/what's on the car if you are trying to strike balance among nice, top ones to have, and total budget. I'm not a regular black interior guy myself, but like the details of the Arras. I think the combo of Plus, Arras and B&0 will keep it a desired car in future too.

My guy shot over the same numbers tonight without me asking for them. I'm still trying to decide between this and a '15 S63 for ~120k, so I wasn't even talking price yet.

They're looking to deal. Not much downside to throwing out $116.

My guess is that

Hey Everyone,
First time posting but I've been hanging around for a year or so.

I ordered an S8 plus on March 7th. Msrp 143k, best they would do is 141k. Seems like I should have gotten a better discount after reading the post above.

The dealer assures me the car has been ordered but they haven't given me any information as far as a production or delivery date. Financing was approved when I ordered the car but the finance manager called a few hours later requesting my tax returns because they figured out I'm self employed. My accountant is still working on the returns so I haven't provided them to Audi financial yet.

Anyone here ever had to show returns to get financing? Is it too late to negotiate a better price on the car? Any help would be appreciated, this is my first time ordering a vehicle from Audi and the first time I've bought a car over 100k.

I do pay myself on a W2 and receive a weekly check. I provided pays stubs like they asked, but Audi checked the secretary of states office and requested returns anyway. I just thought it was a little odd after providing pay stubs that showed more than sufficient income. Do you think they have really ordered the car already without getting returns first?
Thanks for your response.
