Do the D4's have an event data recorder, a.k.a. black box? In general Audi's haven't had them as far as I know--among the few that don't among recent makes. But a post on another board suggests C7's have them, and maybe D4's. From my 2013 Q5, they make it a point in manual to say it does not have one.

My manual for the D4 also states that the A8 does not have an accident event recorder. Just read it in there two nights ago, so remember it clearly.

A friend of mine says there are actually cameras pointed at the brake/gas pedal in his WRX STI. I can't believe such stuff, but who knows.
