My understanding is the "plus" provides a warranty to the engine if any damage occurs due to the flash, but only allows for 91 octane use. The straight Stage 1 flash has no warranty but can do multiple octanes. Any comments?
Others can certainly join in here, but I believe an APR Stage 1 Plus tune is a lot more conservative of a tune. Think: watered down and significantly less power gain. Once I was out of warranty, I went APR Stage 1, the non-plus version and don't regret a second of it.

Healthnut, thanks again for the input. That's exactly what I thought and intend to do.

What are the HP and /4 mile time differences between the two?

Check out the APR website for some of this info.

I created the video to fill what was a gap in the available information when I was trying to figure out what in the hell I wanted to do with my exhaust system. For those who may be considering cutouts, you ARE NOT WRONG!

Want your exhaust loud and rowdy, push one of your HomeLink buttons. Want it zipped up and distinguished, push another of your HomeLink buttons (yes, I programmed the cutouts to the HomeLink garage door openers).

Check them out! BTW, there are bookmarks in the video description that will allow you to jump to specific sections.

Thank goodness for this thread. Had a A8 3.0T, deleted resonators, found it was too quite then had shop do custom mufflers but found it was not enjoyable on the highway - way too much drone. Low speeds it was amazing. Sold it ‘cause wasn’t pleased with the non-L and Les power than the twin turbo…now have an L, 4.0T with chrome delete and mid-tinted tail lights 😎

Will do this setup in the next few weeks and report back to base.

Thanks again all for your input.
