There’s zero doubt that matte florett silver with black optics is the best color on the S8 plus. Nothing else comes close.

BUT an RS 6 Avant in any color… drool

Thank you sir.. Im all ABT but not RS6.. I would rather have D5 S8 for the size and weight. The RS6 is too small inside for me. You have this big car, with no room, esp. in the back seats.. It weights more then my car now.. By the time I am in the market for a new car, it might be an option. But again, more all around car with the D5 S8. I will say der neue RS6 is the best RS car they have ever made. It might have the last great V8 in it, so legend status based on the timing..

That’s a huge plus for finish too, looks good more of the time In case you’re not read up on matte paint care yet, having just bought it: take a look at Swissvax for matte/satin finish protection. High quality stuff that protects but keeps the sheen where it should be

Yes, I recall that there are some peculiarities for washing the matte paint.

you’re really going to love the Arras Red interior. And the red stitching turns up in obscure places. Really nice when the sun shines on it. Mike

Thank you sir. This is def. the king ranch of D4s and a nice way to celebrate my A8s of the past to get to this level.. Something like Arras is timely, daily reminder of this legacy.

I try to bite my tongue, buuuut, the W12 did have an MSRP that was 20% more expensive than the S8. I think being the most expensive and rare has to make the W12 the king ranch of the D4s
