Hi guys,
Does anyone know how to calibrate the front camera for parking assist (surround view)?
Removed my front bumper for some minor cosmetic work and after put it back on the front camera was a little off. There’s no motor behind the camera to control it so I assume it only needs computer/software calibration.

So far I haven't seen anyone here discuss a DIY approach to this. The service manual spans many pages of specific equipment and instructions on how to do calibration. If it's real bad you might be better off taking it to Audi.

Thank you. I kind knew it’s probably a dealer only job. Just wished someone here happened to know how to DIY before I have take it to stealership lol...

Any chance things didn’t go back in place correctly? Also curious to what extent things are messed up. Do you have a pic of the parking system screens that show how jacked up it is?

Here is a picture. Doesn’t seem to be too bad though.

Now that looks interesting. I wonder if you could do the adjustments real-time with the parking camera up on the screen.

The 0.001 sounds like over kill. As soon as you sit in the drivers seat the roll angle will probably dip a few. I’d probably adjust it in manually. Or have a go at least. The z axis or height is done in millimeters. Got a British ruler handy?
