I just did mine and it took about five minutes. I just moved the hood seal and was able to lift the plastic cover enough to get my hand in there. 1/4 turn and the old sensor was released. Disconnect wiring and connect new sensor. 1/4 the other way and the new sensor was installed...I didn't even need any tools.
You can see I removed part of the hood seal. Once done, the panel was able to lift a little. I quick peek under the panel and you can see the sensor. New sensor installed
