Has anyone else noticed lots of bugs in the new MMI system ? I've had on occassion the following:
- The car doesn't know it has SD cards or TV
- The phone number list in the DIS just says "Please wait" or stays blank until you reboot the system
- There is no volume with any sound/video source until you reboot the system 3 or 4 times
- MMI is slow to initialise or switch between functions
Also, I may have mentioned this before, the centre front speaker with Bose, distorts amazingly when you call someone, especially if they have a deep voice. I've had the speaker changed and it's been remounted several times by the master technicians without any luck. The only potential fix would be to update the MMI s/w so that the lower frequencies aren't played through that speaker. Trouble is, there is no MMI update yet!
The last thing, my rear blind has decided to start squeaking when going up or down. Turns out it's a problem in the motor, so half the parcel shelf has to be replaced as it's an integrated system.

Just make sure that your dealer's service department has logged the MMI issues in the Audi computer system. Audi looks at these service related problems in real time and this helps get things sorted out much quicker---in this case s/w upgrades to address these hick-ups.
