I believe i need to replace the window defrost flap motor on the right side of the car based on the VCDS scan I ran. Could anybody help me source a part number? I took a look through parts.audi.com but couldn't find anything that listed the motor for the right side window defrost flap

If it helps, for detailed digging or confirmation, try here: Online Audi vehicles spare parts catalogue, Audi VIN decoder, Part number search, *** Online One of a variety of Euro sites with the real ETKA type slides the dealers use for parts. The USA stuff is typically dumbed down for more basic parts only. Audi wants to license it for real money (even for their own dealers' external use) and none of them want to pay for it. Meantime, can use these kinds of sites for deeper dives. The option configurations tend to be worldwide even if you pick the USA or other country setting, so you have to watch out that you are in the correct specific slide when a given engine or other component matters.

Hello,
I have the same default at the left side but I don't feel the problem. I know it because I plugged VCDS
1 Fault Found:
0137 - Motor for Left Side Window Defrost Flap
B10D8 22 [009] - Signal Amplitude Too High
Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
What are the symptoms ?

Did anyone sort this out?
I just changed the related coolant valve and then got this error, I assume it's been sat idle with the valve broken and now that heat is getting through its stuck. I did find some threads that it could be a re-alignment issue.
What does it take to get to it, is it enough to take the glove compartment out?

I have the same code and the Dealership told me not to worry about it! There doesn't seem to be a problem (ie., everything works properly), but I don't like it showing up in my VCDS scan. I will push the Dealership to do something about it in a few weeks when I take my car in for service.

Found this and it seems to only be the glove compartment that needs to come out. In my case the motor seems to move but there is a bad sound of something like plastic gears overshooting so maybe I will get away with wiggling the flat loose so to speak. I have not noticed any issues with heath or cooling even before I changed the coolant valve which was seriously broken btw, coolant had leaked into the control electronics and literally fried the pcb.

FWIW, I'm in the same boat but since everything seems to work, I'm just ignoring the code. Pretty sure the control module doesn't like the the motor's ID and is just a bit confused.
