S8's up here are pretty uncommon, like the V12 BMWs. I would have loved to have found a facelift D4, but from the looks of things facelifting the trunk is a simple matter and then I can spend a year piecing together the bits to do the front.
S8 has been on the "list" since around 2000. The only car left on my list is an air cooled 911, but that ship sailed years ago. I did have a 951 at one point, which was an amazing car.

I'll make a proper intro post this week.

I have a set of factory 20" D4/A8 wheels listed in "like new" condition, classifieds... They were removed with about 2500 miles of useage back in the Spring of 2016. 22's were installed at that time.
Additionally, I have listed a set of 245/45/20 Conti Viking7 winter tires. They would be an excellent fit for your S8, with no offset issues or overall diameter issues.

Congrats on your S8 ownership... They are an amazing and powerful machine to own!!!

I'll drop you a line tomorrow. Those are right up my alley, but getting them to me might negate any cost savings for the decent price you have it all listed at.

Hi eTron, welcome to the D4 S8 world.
I love this car.

Anyway - here's a recommendation"

1. Go on eBay and search for OEM 20" Audi Wheels - specifically with A8 or A7 or S7 or S8 fitment - plan on spending about $1,200 to $1,500 all in for a good set. Any of those will have the proper fit / offset to clear the S8 brakes.

2. Buy any winter tires from your local store or TireRack in 275 40 20 size. Yes that size fits the A8 and S8 and is less expensive and more options. I personally purchased Vredestein Wintrac Pro which works well in New England weather - handles deep snow and ice, but also handles well when the weather is dry during the winter and doesn't give up too much of the performance profile.

265/40/20 is technically the correct size. Skinner is always better for snow. Dunlop SP winter Sport 3D work great in that size and they are "AO" spec tires and not very expensive.

Tell you what, I'll buy his perfect set and I'll give you my almost perfect set for half of what he is selling for.
