Its been a long time coming. For many reasons I have not jumped on a D4. But with AUDI making certain changes for 2013, it was time to pull the trigger.

I ordered a 3.0 T.
I drove Two 3.0T's a few weeks ago and really was fine with the power. The lighter weight from the engine probably helped. I have the same engine in my 2011 S4.
As a side by side comparison, during one of the 3.0T test drives, I drove a 2012 A8 NWB that they had on the lot. It was a negligible difference in power. My priorities in a big sedan have never been about HP. For me, its always been about interior elegance, overall stability, ride and VALUE. The A8 has all of these. In fact, the price decrease in the 2013 3.0 engine puts more value in the car for me personally and that's one of the things that made it attractive

Congrats. I think you may notice very little power difference in City driving. In passing, at say "faster" highway speeds, the V8 really shines. With the V8, It seems like there's almost a straight line power curve from 75-100mph. Of course, for those of us in the States, that's only useful on wide open highways...in Nevada...

Finally!!! Congrats. Here's what your Velvet Beige interior will look like (and yes, with Moor Brown upper instrument panel and door sills). Your wood inserts will be a bit darker than mine if you opted for the walnut brown (vs. assam gray shown on my interior). BTW, did you special order the LWB Velvet Beige version?
Again, congrats...and nicely optioned :^)

Brown walnut uppers (5MG) are the standard for the 13's in LWB or NWB but I have seen them come in the assam gray as well. The ASSAM Gray is at no extra charge which is good for those who prefer the assam gray. I personally prefer brown walnut. I dont know if darker is the word. The brown walnut has more red or cherry in it from the models I have seen (with some slight wood variations ofcourse) and the 2011 or 12 models with brown walnut pretty much looks the same as the 2013
And yes, I most definitely put in the SPO config to get the NWB VB interior configured the same exact way as the LWB. That odd darker cabin look of the NWB Velvet beige interior has what has stoped me until now. So no dark gray in the lower part of the dash but rather the entire cabin will take upon the velvet beige look of the LWB. And I will also be getting the piano black lowers which I much prefer to the BU

Congratulations! Can you share specific order codes to get the NWB beige interior configured the same exact way as the LWB - the entire cabin with velvet beige look of the LWB (KP interior) and piano black lower inlays. Trying to order exact same configuration.
Thanks
Thanks
