Darn Chicago roads...hit a pothole in a construction zone last Friday and the car did it's best to smooth out the inevitable BUMP....however just noted the front driver-side tire wall has an egg in it now ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Off to the shop tomorrow morning to have tire replaced...going with stock as all the other tires are Pirelli's and don't need replacing. I hope it's only the tire that needs fixing!

Have them look at your wheel closely. If messed up, you might end up in insurance claim territory--or find a clean used one. But yes with 35s or 40's, I have had some of these pinched tire sidewall bubbles, and fortunately usually just that. Review your inflation pressures to be sure they are in order. The D4 dumbed down TPMS may not alert you until fairly low if all four drop relatively evenly. My experience is this (now widely used) type of TPMS set up is better at spotting one low from a leak than all four gradually getting softer.
