Hello all.
So I just changed my battery on my 2013 A8L 4.0T. The original was a 105Ah AGM varta battery and I installed a Duralast Platinum H9 AGM that's rated at 100Ah. After programming on VCDS, I realized there is no option for 100Ah only 105ah, 115Ah, 92Ah, etc. I left it as 105Ah but now my question is.. How would this affect the new battery or possibly alternator? Will it cause the alternator to work harder? Should I set it to 92Ah (thinking maybe its better it doesn't get fully charged/less outpyt compared to getting overcharged/higher demand from vehicle) so it's lower or it doesn't really matter?
First time changing the battery on this car so I'm a little confused with the options and programming, possible side effects of different battery than programmed, etc. Previous battery looked like it was the original (I'm the 2nd owner so I doubt the first owner changed the battery during their lease). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Who even knows if a new Varta battery eight years ago had the same electrical characteristics as your new Duralast Platinum H9 ?
