Thanks for the info I had the software updated and got the red cable. Now I get album art and can play video..

Comprehensive info on the Audi 3G Nav+ MMI Entertainment options, AMI cables, SD cards, Jukebox, MMI software, video, supported files, etc. (applies to 2012+ C7 A6/S6/A7/S7, 2013+ B8.5 A4/S4, D4 A8/S8 and others).

Thanks for the info. Good thread. I have been able to play files with the red cable. Has anyone been able to play youtube or netflix??

Default Ipod classic
does not work at all with red cable but works with blue. Ipod touch works with both but shows album art with red cable.
