Does anyone have some tips on removing the inner tail light assembly? The passenger side assembly on my S8 is loose, and the top LED portion is out. I purchased a replacement, but cannot figure out how to access the screws, or lack thereof. Also, any idea on what nut is needed to secure the assembly should they be missing?

Remove the trim on the inside of the trunk, there’s a couple screws to remove, including one kind of hidden behind the emergency handle. I don’t remember exactly where the others are but I can look tomorrow if you need more help.
Once the screws are removed then you pry or tug the panel away from the trunk- there are several clips along the perimeter. Remove or disconnect the light in the trim panel. Then each light is held in place by three 8 or 10mm nuts, I forget which.
If you have facelift lights you’ll have to negotiate the chrome strip that runs from side to side. It is foam taped to each light and the deck lid.
