I am thinking about replacing my 4 spoke Steering wheel with an OEM 3 Spoke S8 Steering Wheel. My S8 came with lane assist and I never use it so I would much rather have the S8 Steering wheel over that feature. I called my dealer and their service dept is going to get back to me. Does anyone know if this can be done without any problems?

I don't see why it could not be done.
Other than possibly a clockspring, it should just be a matter of coding.

It's done with some regularity on D3 and C6.
