Default Rotors on 2011 A8L

Can you turn the rotors on an A8L if they aren't bad or should I just replace the whole thing along with the brake pads?

Gets into a bit more technical discussion for the fronts, first depending on which rotors you have. If they are any of the sizes with the quasi two piece rotors in front, then many machine shops are likely to say no. The reason being that they think the radial connectors those rotors use to join the hats and rotor donuts will deflect slightly when used with their surfacing equipment. In practice, FWIW I think few people or shops turn rotors for passenger vehicles in general any more. The construction also means the only practical source for the front rotors are dealers. Ordered from the online ones, the prices have become more reasonable. The rears are conventional cast iron, so standard machining practice and up to you.
