Default RS7 wheels on D4

Anyone installed 21" RS7 wheels on their d4? I'm assuming the fitment is perfect given it's factory wheels.

Any compatibility issues?

They will bolt up. Offsets are identical.

went to Discount Tire to install the wheels, but was told the factory RS7 tires don't (98Y rating) meet the minimum standard for vehicle weight on tires for the D4. Apparently we need 104Y......with the correct weighted Conti 21's coming in around $2k alone I will be selling these wheels.

Live and let learn I suppose....

Umm, just use 'em! What, are you going to load up your S8 full of bricks?

Trust me I would but Discount Tire said it's illegal for them to mount those tires given it's not the correct weighted tires.

If they're not load rated for the car, you'll have problems other than worry about whether or not they will leave you with a flat.

I used two sets of Mich PSS (85k miles total) w/ the D3 with no problems, only one nail at the end of the second set.

The load for the 4400 lb D3 was 100Y but the Michs had a 96Y, load range of 1500 lbs which was 6000 lbs so after asking Tire Rack and many other tire stores I got them.

Went x-country with the second set- no issues!

The D4 comes w/ 104Y and I will consider Mich AS3s w/ 102Y load
Load is 1800lbs / I think
