I know this is somewhat heretical, but has anyoe done a thorough review of the 2013 S8 vs the 2013 Alpina B7? I already pre-ordered my 4th consecutive S8 but I must say the new B7 looks pretty sweet, and it comes in all wheel drive.

There have been no tests or comparison tests yet. Only first drive reviews. I have not found a 1/4 mile time anywhere, only 0-100km/hr 4.2, and a separate 0-60mph in 3.9

The B7 is a fair bit heavier, and a bit more $ vs the S8 though.

yes, the B7 is quite a bit more ($130k vs $110k) My main fear is that the xdrive won't compare favorably to Quattro. I never see a b7 in New England and I wonder if this is why. But I think the B7 looks sportier.
