Have been planning to wax the A8 for a while, and today was the perfect day for it. Was a great 6-hour therapy session ;^)

Last photo was the reflection off the car's hood (bonnet). Bumper cover damage hasn't been completely fixed yet---I was able to completely buff out the scuffs (luckily there were no serious scratches in the paint); the lower polished bumper trim still needs to be replaced since there's that small gouge staring up at me.

Thanks. I've been using Black Fire wax and detailing products recently. Available at http://www.autopia-carcare.com/
It's a paste wax that's very easy to work with; apply it and you don't wait for it to haze over---just buff it while still soft. A 2nd coat can be applied for more protection and depth of gloss, but you have to wait 8-hours between coats for it to cure. If you go crazy and do the 3-step polish, glaze and wax route---well it really gives you an amazing look.
