any comments on what "Savana Beige Pearl" looks like in person? I just cant get excited about how this picture makes this color look in the car configurator:

Yes - I almost ordered it because my D3 was Platinum Beige perl effect and I really liked that color.
However it made me nervous not seeing it in person first.

Happened to be one on the lot the day I bought the D4.
It's more of a brown than a beige in my [color blind] eyes.
Kind of dull looking, but it was an overcast day...


It depends on the time of day, angle of the sun or type of lighting.
I wouldn't say it is black, but it looks very dark sometimes.

Other times it looks very dark gray with almost a bluish tint.
Some times it is medium gray.

People who don't see mine regularly constantly ask if I got a new vehicle.
I like it, but it may not be for everyone.

I saw this color on the car we test drove, and I found it very boring. Probably good for not showing dirt, but that's about the only redeeming quality in my view.
