Hello fellow forum members,

I recently just leased a 2015 Audi A8L, and I am extremely happy with the car, but I do keep hearing this beeping noise from the dashboard. I think it is either the clock or the parking assistance, but can't be sure. I was wondering if you guys could help me with this issue, but maybe I'm the only one with this problem?

The hard drive makes noise that could be called beeping. I hear all sorts of computery noises from the car, usually around startup and getting in the car. Any other D4 A8 I've been in makes similar noises.

Yes there is a chirp like sound coming out of the speakers I think, typically around startup as Jack88 says.

Is there a fix to this? And the beeping comes on during random times, not always at startup, sometimes while I'm on the freeway, about half an hour after I leave home.

The various noises the car makes has never bothered me, never looked for a solution. The only noise I know that comes in at random times that could be called a beep is from the hard drive.

I've got the hard drive noise coming on at exactly 1 minute, and this happens when I leave the car overnight before driving it. According to my dealer this is normal. Sigh..
