Timing chain wear on 4.2FSI

The 3.2 FSI (which in large part is a v6 version of 4.2) has a well established issue with timing chains lengthening to the point the tensioner resets, with catastrophic reselts typically. But I don't hear about it happening in the 4.2 fsi....why? I checked my 2011 A8 at 180k miles and the camshaft adaptations, all less than 2 degrees. And specified vs. Actual all within 0.25 degrees. Seems healthy, so great news. But curious why this common 3.2 issue seems absent from 4.2 experiences?

Because the D4 4.2 uses the guide/tensioner system off the RS4/5 4.2 not the normal version that has so many issues.
Part numbers are where I noticed this....
