.
Dave, curious... what material will you be printing these out of? I see there's quite a variety.

I think it is called PLA filament. It seems very rigid and is supposed to stand up to heat/cold/etc. Do you think this is the "right stuff"?

I think so, doesn't seem like it will be under much stress in any case

From what I gather, PLA is good through 140F. like PVC.

We are ready to go! Here is a sample of the final units. Maybe not "pretty" but certainly effective and you'll never notice the markings once they are installed. I must confess, this was much more difficult than I originally thought...I needed to learn how to use the 3D printer (maybe 20% of the "struggle"), then I had to learn how to use the CAD software (Fusion360 - yikes, that was a giant learning curve, 60%), and lastly learning how to use the slicer software (the SW that coverts the CAD file to something the printer can understand - another 20% of the drama).

I know! I have a buddy with a 2016 S8 that he purchased about ten months ago. His car was missing all four of them. When I saw him today, I surprised him with the clips. You would have thought I handed him a fist full of money, lol.

Yours will go out in the mail tomorrow (I missed today's cutoff time).

Hey Dave, count me in for a set! The dealership quoted me $400. Can you believe it? I just stared at the guy until he moved along.
