Finally received and installed this unit from Amazon. It appears to be the exact same one available on Aliexpress but I was hesitant to order directly from their website.

This appears to be a very, very similar to the rsnav I have in our c7.

Seems to work well so far. Factory 360 camera is retained.

Nice touch and brings the car to modern standards with car play. Was the install difficult? Do you suggest having a pro install for me?

It looks like a big P.I.T.A., but you could repair your flap motor while you're in there

I’m a pro myself and I found the install to be challenging. The biggest problem is stuffing the quad lock t harness in behind the cd player.

what is the flap motor issue? I haven’t heard of that.

Got it. Looks like just removing the glove box which is easy enough.

the aliexpress video is funny. As a professional in the industry it took me a few hours. If you actually watched it, notice they don’t show them reseating the cd player all the way.

Does the aftermarket radio stay connected to all the features of the car, like massage chairs, seat configurations, raising and lowering the suspension etc....?

I just followed the video that’s on YouTube already.

So far as I can tell, yes. You do have to be on the right window for it to show those features though. Climate control and camera seem to override the aftermarket window, but massaging seats do not.
