Cool. Which one did you get ? I could not install tempered glass type on the lower screen, that's why I mentioned that the upper one needs to be removed.
Anyway, these do not protect against finger prints, but at least screens will be with no scratches and swirls.
Mine are supposed to be the tempered glass, but they were still quite flexible. I didn't have any problems installing the lower screen item, so I'm not sure why you had to take an extra step.
The car is gorgeus. I have similar interior except the carbon trim. Are those puddle lights the OEM ones? Here in Canada they cost CA$256 a pair. Rip off is a compliment
Yes, they are the OEM puddle lights. They were sourced from eBay for ~$120/pair. I've had them for many, many months and moved them to the D5 after the D4 went away. They are still quite bright and have a sharp image, unlike the inexpensive ones from Amazon, etc.
Just installed the screen protectors from AliExpress. They are much, much better than the OEM units. Both unit installed with ease and fit very, very well.
Of course the challenging part is removing all the dust/lint from the screen prior to application. It was really hard to get any good pictures, but trust me when I say they look pretty damn good!

The top one looks cloudy from an angle, but is perfectly clear from a "straight on" view. For $11, I am quite impressed with the quality. They don't seem to affect the touch screen performance and seem to lesson the finger prints a bit.

I got some from Amazon where the description was perfect but they were the wrong size so they are being returned.
