Default Armrest stain

Somehow I got this stain on my front armrest, wife, kid, me? Anyway, anyone have a recommendation for what to use to try and get it out?
I have no idea what it is but I'm worried if I use the wrong product I'll end up with a worse stain.
Thanks

I have no idea...but an internet search shows a wide variety of solutions. In no particular order:
1. Use cornstarch or talcum powder to get out greasy stains.
2. Try vinegar with equal part distilled water or soapy water.
3. Try just some detergent in water.
4. Try warm water.

I have no idea whether any of these solutions will themselves cause stains, so try first in an inconspicuous spot.

I used a leather cleaner, can't remember which one. It got about 75% out and it seemed over time they just disappeared.
