Has anybody tried to release electronic parking brakes ( Module 53) using VCDS ? I'm trying to do it and can't access this module. Getting error message as below. What Am I doing wrong ? I sent email to Ross Tech support, but have not received any response yet.

Already know the answer. Cars 2013 and up don't have Module 053 ( Parking Brake). Instead Module 03 -ABS Brakes should be used.

I'd get them from FCP Euro. You can replace them for free when they're worn out - no I'm not kidding

Default Limited front rotor options

Go to pads seem to be EBC, red stuff for no dust daily use, yellow stuff for more stopping power, blue stuff for the track.

Rear rotors: 034 Motorsport offers a light twin disk upgrade 350mm

Front rotors: OEM seems to be the only option, something about proprietary and, like, such as?

Hi All.

For the guys who have 8 cyl cars ( A8 and S8) with 400mm front rotors I can confirm that there is a much cheaper source that OEM brake pads. The best price for OEM pads I found was about $300 per axel for pads ( total about $600).
I just installed ceramic front pads, which cost me $52 plus shipping :

Also rear ceramic pads, which I have not bought yet, cost about $35.

Thank me later.
