Tried double clicking, triple clicking and holding the trunk button on fob for 10 seconds and trunk will not close. Am I doing anything wrong?

You have to press the button on the lid ?

I believe you can do so but you must be behind the car. This was an oddity I remember from when I first took delivery. If you cannot do this, my next question is if the car is new or pre-owned? (most likely new given the year but want to clarify b/c there's an OBD 11 setting to increase the range of the key but it kills the function to close the lid remotely)

Yes car was leased new DEC2023. Good to know at least that my key fob range was increased from [probably long enough for me to care] to [longer than I care] hahaha. Thanks for the in-depth knowledge!
